A golden, straw coloured bitter, brewed with Cascade hops adding a flinty, grapefruit aroma that is deliciously refreshing.

Nice Ale which could also be alight IPA. Some citrus, some hops but a bit thin and dull. Still very drinkable and refreshing with a lemon back. Nice one for sure.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear amber colour with low head and medium to thin body. Nose of a mouflon sheep or a wet dog. Don’t enjoy the nose at all. Taste is far better: Ripe hops, barley, malt, citrus and straw. Hints of basement. Some dull and dusty finish again. It really is nice but there are just to many unpleasant notes that I was happy when the glass was empty.

Cask in Edinburgh. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of fruity hops. Taste is moderate bitter, flowery hops, but the beer is luke warm, not a winner on a hot sunny day, still a good tasting light hoppy beer.

Bottle (50cl) from Meny (Bjølsen), Oslo. Half-inch white head, reduces fairly quickly to a thin ring. Clear, pale golden colour. Buttery-floral aroma with hay, yellow apple and banana. Light body, average/fizzy carbonation. Taste is fairly dry with a mild bitterness. Decent fullness in taste midway, but it quickly tapers off into a thin and metallic aftertaste.

Draught at "MadreBirra 2013" - Brescia. Golden dirty color, good foamy head resistance, modest bubbly presence. Fresh hoppy and herbaceus nose, realy crude and raw perception. Very crisp and lively taste, refreshing bitter final with a good alcoholic equilibrium.

Obtained in a trade with Brigadier. 50 cl. bottle @ home. BBF 02/2014. Lot 256. The gorgeous thistle designs on the label and cap make me instantly think of Scotland – absolutely lovely and mission accomplished I presume. Pours a gorgeous amber orange with a creamy white head, incredible lacing. Nose is full of fruity & juicy American hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits, mango coupled together with delicious light touches of sweet malts and candy sugars. Taste is lovely tropical fruits, light orange peels and touch of marmalade, light candy sugar, light peach, fruity coupled with some malty sweetness. Mainly juicy and fruity with only some lesser orange peel bitterness in the back. The light body and ABV make this for a highly drinkable and incredible session brew. Great flavour coupled with easy drinkability makes this one a winner for me. Honestly I am taken back entirely by the low scores on this one because the high drinkabily and excellent flavour make this a real winner for me. If this is sold near your area at a reasonable price, you should really consider holding a prolonged drink session using this beer. For my half a litre went down as easy as water. Also I had fun using my new Brigand glass with apparently holds roughly half a litre.

Bottle@Home. Light malty, yeasty, hint of diacetyl. Golden, off-white head, good lace. Light sweet, light bitter, light malty, light herbal, hint of diacetyl in the flavour as well. But not annoying. Dry, very British.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a clear golden body with a medium creamy white head. Nose is orange marmalade, citrus tones, pale malts and hints of grass and bread in the back. Taste is pale malts, mild citric tones and hints of grass and faint sulfuric hints and traces of diacetyl. Light body, medium carbonation. Aroma is much better than taste. Fair enough, but somehow fails to make a great impression.

50cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian (thanks!) Pours clear golden with a white head. Lightly hoppy and fruity aroma with pale malt, citrus, tropical fruits and hints of herbs. Moderate sweet and lightly citric with a nice bitterness. Easy drinking and quite okay, but slightly boring. (2013-06-05)
