Glouglouburp (1876), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 15, 2008 In short: A refreshing well-malted fruity IPA. Above average
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear golden-orange body with a small white head
In long: Hey yo! That bitch got a rich malted body. Caramelized malts toasted like a smoked nigga. Was up with that? That body is richer than a pimp of phat booty hoes. I’m down with that. That hopping is boo-yaa! Fruity flavours of grapefruits, pears and citrus, that baby is more juicy than a wet pussy. My homies would love that shit. Very Refreshing. Peace. punkrkr27 (323), Clawson, Michigan, USA Feb 4, 2008 Light amber color with a small dense white head. Lots of grapefruit aroma, pine, hint of orange zest, and a little juniper. Greapefruit flavor upfront, lots of pine in the middle and a pronounced noble hop spice in the finish. Some toasted earthy malts start to come out as it warms. Medium body with moderate carbonation and slightly sticky finish. ryan (1673), Beltsville, Maryland, USA Oct 28, 2007 MBGF07. Clear light amber with no head. The nose is hoppy with grapefruit, apricots and light bread. The flavor is fairly dry with grapefruit, tangerine, bread and light caramel. Medium body is a bit rough with chunky bitterness and light carbonation. Silphium (1981), Lansing, Michigan, USA Sep 6, 2007 On tap at Black Lotus. Medium orange body, thin/medium off-white head. Earthy, dry aroma with prominent citrusy (orange, primarily) hops. Rich flavor of citrus and tropical fruit, including orange, grapefruit, and pineapple. Good bite, a tad thin. Enjoyable. nbutts1297 (2), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA does not count Aug 9, 2007 Just the best IPA that I have tasted.
