Glouglouburp (2113), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 16, 2008 In short: A very light juicy Pale Ale low on malts. As drinkable as it is bland
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear copper body with a medium off-white head
In long: Body is thin, not watery but thin. Low on caramelized malts this one’s malt profile was plain toasted white bread. Flavour of citrus juice and a little soapy/pledge hint. Overall this was a citrusy hop juice pint. Drinkable light Pale Ale but not something I’d have again. Whether it is hoppy beers or hot chicks in bikinis Michigan just isn’t California I’m telling you.
punkrkr27 (357), Clawson, Michigan, USA Feb 4, 2008 Dark copper pour with ruby highlights and a thin white head. Strong bready malt aroma with just a hint of pine. The flavor has a strong earthy malt backbone with some pine and a hint of pepper. Chewy medium body with low carbonation and a dry finish.
