Commercial Description:
Oktoberfest means Marzenbier. Marzenbier is full-bodied, rich, toasty, typically dark copper in color. It became popular in Germany as it was cold aged during hotter months and released in alte September as weather becomes cooler.

I can’t rate this against the style because I haven’t had many marzen beers. Anyways, this is a gorgeous copper color, little head to speak of. Smell of roasted malt with a slight hoppy aroma. Great flavor balance, the hops make a nice finish after the malts finish their smooth dance. I could definitely drink a lot of this stuff.
