3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden coloured body with a super thick, six centimetre tall pure white head and tons of movement noticeable. Aroma of lemons, yeast, sour grapes, brett and hints of milk. Light-bodied; Assertive sour and citrus flavours up front with no malt or wheat at all, no hops, and not much sugar - perhaps a hint from the citrus. Aftertaste is quite sour and one-dimensional with no body. Overall, a nice example of a berliner from here in America and very easy to drink, especially in the summer. I liked it a lot and would have preferred it with a straw and some syrup, but I had this in a lowball glass straight. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Olive Tree Market Place in San Diego, California on 07-June-2013 for US$5.99 sampled at home in Washington the day it first hit over freezing temperature for the past five days - perfect for a summer beer, while watching ice hockey in southern california on 25-January-2014.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured a hazy yellow out of the bottle with aromas of light tart lemons, light lacto and some hay. Flavors are the same light and refreshing on the palate, I could drink this stuff all day and every day.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle generously sent by IBrew2or3. Cheers, Dave! You know how I lover Berliners! Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is some lactic tartness, some bready wheat, and some tartness. Flavor is tart citrus, some breadiness, and some yeast. Light in body and nice overall.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is sourish - but not exactly citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is sour/tart and citric, but not exactly lemon. I think it fits the style well. Quite refreshing. Almost startling.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Anticipated this 22oz bomber so shared with kmweaver (local bottle shop who rarely steers me wrong gave high marks). Highly acedic sourness dominated this cloudy pour. Tart aroma and nose, with some hoisin sauce. That said, it’s still one dimensional, not subtle. Mouthfeel was slightly oily, with perception of low carbonation. Call it a sour, but not what I expect in something labeled Berliner Weiss style.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home with the wife. Pour is slightly hazy golden orange with a big white head and great lacing. Big wheat, almost skunky, sour grainy, doughy, fruit peel, and sweet aroma. Taste is big sour, lemon lime, vanilla, stale bread, citric acid, sweet malty, salty, and green apples with a huge sour finish. Light body with high carbonation. Way too sour and completely lacking any lactic notes; not a good Berliner.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Farmer’s market tasting tick.) 22oz bottle, courtesy of mpersinger. Thanks, Mike! Pours a hazy, dulled golden color; modest off-white head; small bubbles. Some steak/Worcester-sauce notes in the aroma (best I can put my finger on it) in the aroma, particularly when cold; reminds me of the A-1 of my childhood; some toasty wheat, tart lemons, but odd overall. Medium-light body; lightened, loose CO2; soft bitterness and a saline feel at the front; soft citrus tartness; flabby and kind of lackluster.
