When we first introduced “Aftermath” in our tasting room, we were looking to produce a drinkable Pale Ale that wasn’t just a reproduction of everyone else’s Pale Ale. We succeeded in creating ours with a unique blend of 5 hop varieties to produce a pale with HUGE hop aroma and flavor, without the bitterness of an IPA.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Mosaic
Malt: Pale, Munich

Great beer! Great hop aroma, lighter bodied and doesn’t have any lingering bitterness. Perfect for when I’m craving hops, lower ABV and something I can crush multiple of!

Bottle to pint. Aromas are mostly citrus and wheat. VERY hazy orange-gold with full white head. Taste is citrus and muddled chaff, with a moderate bitterness. Not bad, but a little boring.

Light amber pour with a gorgeously textured off-white head that leaves wonderful lacing. Aroma is heavy on the grapefruit. Taste adds more pine and caramel.

Lagerboy (1604) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2015
Bomber. Clear lighter orange copper, lasting firmer off-white foam. Aroma of herbal citric hop and caramel malt. Taste is herbal citrus hop, faintly floral, some fruitiness, lightly sweet pale c-malt, barely bitter, some earth and spice notes, a bit buttery. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped for a pale. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Draft at sb. Pours a clear burnished medium amber with a dense and creamy white head that sticks around and plenty of lace. Huge tangy grapefruit nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel and tons of complex acidic grapefruit and lemon on the mid palate. Long resiny finish. Wonderfully sessionable.

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours dark golden with a huge off-white head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a light-bodied pale malt flavor with a bitter earthy finish. Not very balanced, yet a refreshing, drinkable brew.

Very big rising head on dirty amber. Moderate hop scent. Huge dry hop flavour on light malt. Like a cigarette and a sipper in your mouth. Dry hop cloud and not heavy-handed APA.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis and Mike. Medium orange hue, off white head with good retention. Lovely floral and pine aromatics that translate to nice bright hop complexity on the palate, fields and forests, bitter finish. Very good.

Huge head on top of a coppery amber body. The head is puffy and sticks to the glass everywhere. The aroma is citrus heavy with nice light pine notes, light spicy hop aromas and a bit of a floral perfume. Sweet caramel and bready malts up front, light lemon rind, bitter citrus and floral notes. A bit monotone with lighter bitterness and halted astringency.
