When we first introduced “Aftermath” in our tasting room, we were looking to produce a drinkable Pale Ale that wasn’t just a reproduction of everyone else’s Pale Ale. We succeeded in creating ours with a unique blend of 5 hop varieties to produce a pale with HUGE hop aroma and flavor, without the bitterness of an IPA.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Mosaic
Malt: Pale, Munich

Another typical west coast ipa clone, that said I actually like this one over most that I’ve tried.

355 ml can.
Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Nice massive hops on the nose, tropical fruits, pine and resin, the works. Bitter palate with lots of citric fruits and resinous hops on the flavor, some hop oils on the finish. Very nice.

Amber body white light head some nice lacing. Aroma is resin and pine. Taste has a dry bitterness, sweet malty nutty bready element. Some boozy heat. Not bad.

Bottle. Somewhat cloudy amber pour with a thick, pillowy off-white head. Aroma is huge, tons of fruit, very zesty and fresh, fairly sweet. Taste is more mellow, lots of citrus, some tropical fruit, flavourful but lighter-bodied, a little sweet without a ton of bitterness. Could use a little more bitterness, but really great overall.

Pours clear golden orange with decent off white head. Aromas of citrus hops with hint of honey and malt. Very good carbonation but fairly light mouth feel. Taste is nice light malt with nice balance of fresh fruity hops. Finish is bitter and dry with a boozy aftertaste.

Pours a clear amber color with medium to high off-white head. Aroma has grapefruit, pine, resin and citrus fruits, with a good malty backbone. Taste follows the aroma, citrusy, grapefruity, piney and resiny, with a bready/biscuity backbone and a strong bitter ending.

Can. Light body and malt base work well to showcase a strong and complex hop combo. Pine and grapefruit mostly but with undercurrents of tropical fruits and light Dankness as well. Maybe the best bm beer I’ve had to date, and a really nice APA.

Can from Brew Bristol. Sparse head which disappears quickly, gold/amber colour, lightly hazy. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, orange, pine, spruce. Bitter taste, light to medium body, long bitter finish, soft carbonation. Quite alright, nicely bitter, well balanced.

Can @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, lovely fruity as well. Taste malts, hops, some fruity hops and quite a nice hop bitter with a light touch of resin and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Lovely IPA!
