3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml bomber pours a golden orange color with a generous white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some tropical fruits and grains. Taste is a bold grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a tropical fruity and malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation that tickles the tongue. Overall, a tasty brew that must be sampled.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
It has a lovely rich peachy golden colour that I have come to associate with many APAs, a pillowy cream coloured head and a touch of haze. The aroma is of spices first with garam masala and Sichuan peppers. It is gorgeously aromatic, like incense in a glass. Coupe this with fruity peaches and dessert maltiness. The flavour begins with a mellow sweetness that takes in spice and pepper. It is much more mellow than I expected with green pine lingering on the bitter finish.
Maybe a touch of oxidised character? Otherwise, a tasty devil.

12 oz can poured on national beer can appreciation day. I do indeed appreciate the canned beer world. Pours golden with a huge foamy head. Ton of hops on the aroma. Nice hoppy, super flavorful beer that I can probably drink all day. Great beer.

This is one of my favorite San Diego style pale ales, basically an IPA everywhere else in the world... Definitely seek this one out!

Tap at Backyard Bottle Shop. Pours lightly hazy amber with a large, creamy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is citrus, fruity, and herbal hops with apple esters and pale malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, light malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Quite flavorful APA. Two demerits. First, this was a gusher; not cool. Second, 5.8% ABV for this style is a bit too high.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours a clear amber color with a very large froth off-white head, despite a light and easy pour. Nose is definitely hop forward and grassy with a bit of floral notes coming through. Taste is actually pretty fresh and light, and only slightly bitter with some crispness to it. Solid drinkable beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a near white head of foam leaving behind sheet lacing. The aroma is big inviting Mosiac and Cascade like hoppiness that pulls up the juiciness and mild maltiness. This smells nice. The taste hits with juicy tangelo and clementine malt sweetened hops. It gets resiny with grapefruit like citrus hop bitterness and pine hops to midway. Into the finish the malty base starts to make noise and joins in seamlessly with the citrusy hoppiness. Wow, a fresh glass of this is just delicious. I have been holding off buying this canned at a bottle shop since far too many pales go downhill fast. Fresh is best here.
