When we first introduced “Aftermath” in our tasting room, we were looking to produce a drinkable Pale Ale that wasn’t just a reproduction of everyone else’s Pale Ale. We succeeded in creating ours with a unique blend of 5 hop varieties to produce a pale with HUGE hop aroma and flavor, without the bitterness of an IPA.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Mosaic
Malt: Pale, Munich

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours golden amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma has lots of hop- a bit dank with citrus. Med body or nearly. Flavor is very hoppy with a little roasty malt backbone. Dank, citrus, and maybe other hop type flavors. It is really hoppy. Excellent.

Flavorful and fruity IPA. Creamy and smooth. Solid malt backbone with a nutty-toastiness and a nice amount of caramel sweetness. Hop flavors are filled with tropical fruits and sweet pine. Bitterness is moderate, balanced. Good stuff.

12oz can. No date. Big aromas of ripe mango, peach and orange, with a slight malt undertone. Mouthfeel is medium-plus bodied, with a creamy, soft carbonation. Flavors of mango and orange purée, with a subtle malt backbone. Another decent example of dry-hopping, offering subtle bitterness, with ton of hop nuance. Good stuff for a shelf SoCal PA. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Clear orange pour huge foamy head. Aroma of pine peaches hops yeast. Tastes like strong pine hops. Malt backing is also strong. Some creaminess to palate, could use more. pretty efficient hops delivery device.

Poured from a can. Cloudy gold with a big white head. Lots of lacing. Very citrusy aroma which fades rather quickly. Citrusy flavor with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Slick mouthfeel. Pretty good. Easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a mild, creamy white head. Fair. Some bread and pine, light citrus rind bitterness, dry melon, light grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, fairly sweet, with light mineral dryness and more pine. OK.

On tap at the brewery. Orange color, slightly cloudy, and a small white head. Buttery, fruity, orange, and caramel malt. Might be better without the butter.

On tap @ Black Market. Golden orange pour with a white head. Some grapefruit, grass, pine, and fruit esters. A bit of caramel and some lemon peel. But, there is some butter in there. The flavor is pretty buttery too. Orange, grapefruit, and lemon peel. Caramel sweetness, pine, and some fruity esters.
