When we first introduced “Aftermath” in our tasting room, we were looking to produce a drinkable Pale Ale that wasn’t just a reproduction of everyone else’s Pale Ale. We succeeded in creating ours with a unique blend of 5 hop varieties to produce a pale with HUGE hop aroma and flavor, without the bitterness of an IPA.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Mosaic
Malt: Pale, Munich

Tap at yardhouse in Rancho Cucamonga pours bright orange with a small soapy white head and sparse lacing. Nose is fruity pebbles all the way. Flavors are very floral soft very subtle. Finish is sligbtly sweet lite hop bitterness and zesty. Body is lite with firm carbonation yet fits the beer well. This is a solid Apa for sure! Not much else to say other than its a good fresh hoppy apa

Pours slightly hazy pale amber with three fingers of fluffy off-white head diminishing gradually to a thick cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is pithy grapefruit, mango and tropical fruit, light pine, pale malt. (8/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry mildly bitter finish. (4/5) Pleasant aroma with lots of the usual starts-with-C suspects, as well as some Mosaic and Amarillo: a blend that I tend to like quite a bit, and this is no exception. Dry hopped for lots of aroma, without huge bitterness on the tongue make this a more-ish and quite refreshing APA. (Though, truth be told, this could pass for an A/IPA just about anywhere.) Were it not for the >5% ABV, I’d suggest it’s even sessionable. Though I suppose that just means it would have to be a slightly shorter session? (15/20)

22 oz bottle. Bottled 01/31/2014. (El Cerrito Liquors) Corona, CA. This is not exactly fresh bottle but... let's see. Clear golden colour with a tiny white ring. The aroma is caramel sweetness, fruity hops and mild bitterness. Passable. The flavour is fruity hops, mild bitterness, earthy notes and some maltiness. Doesn't taste that fresh. What a shame. But it's drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Just nothing spectacular or noteworthy here. Golden color, meh. Slight tangerine and honey nose, eh. NondeScript citrus tartness, hmmm. Average in every way. Skip.

650ml bomber pours a golden orange color with a generous white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some tropical fruits and grains. Taste is a bold grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a tropical fruity and malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation that tickles the tongue. Overall, a tasty brew that must be sampled.

It has a lovely rich peachy golden colour that I have come to associate with many APAs, a pillowy cream coloured head and a touch of haze. The aroma is of spices first with garam masala and Sichuan peppers. It is gorgeously aromatic, like incense in a glass. Coupe this with fruity peaches and dessert maltiness. The flavour begins with a mellow sweetness that takes in spice and pepper. It is much more mellow than I expected with green pine lingering on the bitter finish. Maybe a touch of oxidised character? Otherwise, a tasty devil.

12 oz can poured on national beer can appreciation day. I do indeed appreciate the canned beer world. Pours golden with a huge foamy head. Ton of hops on the aroma. Nice hoppy, super flavorful beer that I can probably drink all day. Great beer.

This is one of my favorite San Diego style pale ales, basically an IPA everywhere else in the world... Definitely seek this one out!

Can in Seattle. Had some problems .. had the tab break and then it poured with a gushing head. Still a tasty ale. Hoppy mishmash nose, body is sweeter grain and green hops.
