Tap at Black Market. Pours a clear darker brown with no head formation. Nose is cherry juice box. Taste is sticky tea, lemon tea with honey, cherry juice box. Palate is sweeter, lemon citric, no density.

Draft at the brewery taproom - Temecula. Pours clear, deep brown with a foamy head. Very simple stuff, just lots of bready malt character. Plenty of toffee, light puke, ripe fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. More sugary bread and well ripened fruits to wrap things up. Ho hum.

Draft at the brewery. Clear amber brown, with a caramel colored head. Toffee, dry toasted grain, a bit of fruit, and metallic bitterness. Light body. Pretty good for the style actually.

On tap at the brewery. It’s a light brown color, clear, with decent adhesion. The aroma is nice and light, a little nutty and bready. It has light body and medium-strong taste, perfect for the style. I love Scottish Ales and this one’s right up my alley, toffee, roastyness, a touch of hops, and a little sour. Love the complexity and craftsmanship in this beer.
