On tap. Pours with a hazed golden hued body with a large, foamy white head. Great lace. Aromas are of clove, cola, cardamom, berries, bubblegum, pepper, wheat and vanilla. Super and oddly estery. Flavors are of vanilla, bubblegum, banana, very fruity. Cotton candy. Strangely estery. Either and odd yeast choice or fermented too warm. Lively bubbles, medium bodied. Odd yeast character. Not bad to drink, but strange for a head. Yeast character is all over the place.

Pours hazy yellow with nice notes of clove and bananna. The spice shows deep throughout the palate and you have a great sense of texture as well.

A: The pour is a hazy golden orange color with a fluffy white head. S: Amazingly, this smells like an actual hefeweizen. Lots of cloves, and some banana, though perhaps not as much as I would like. Sweet bread and wheat notes with a mild yeastiness and pepper note. T: Sweet malts and bread all the way through with lots of spices. Plenty of clove, banana, sweet bread, and wheat. There is a slight citrus peel flavor toward the back end, almost candied orange peel. M: Medium in body with a low to medium carbonation. O: A surprisingly decent hefeweizen, but it doesn’t really stand up to an authentic German example.

(Draught at our hotel). Pours cloudy yellow with creamy white head. Aroma has loads of ripe banana, clove, wheat and a bit of bubblegum. Taste is semi-sweet with light bitterness. Medium bodied with thick texture. Smooth, yeasty finish. Pretty good hefeweizen!

A good German style hefeweizen. Pours to a pale orangey yellow (not much foam), with plenty of banana and clove both on the nose and the palate. Drinks well, a little lemony, a little spritzy. Pretty good example overall.

Pretty standard, a bit of spicy clove, a bit of candied banana, hazy yellow color, etc. Good, not great.
