Liberation IPA Is an Imperial IPA, which means that we took the malt and hop character of a regular IPA and kicked everything up a few notches. Liberation is a malt and hop powerhouse that drinks smooth and hides its strength. Drink this one fresh to preserve all the hoppy goodness.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Columbus
Malt: Pale, Crystal, Wheat

Draft at the brewery taproom - Temecula. Pours mostly clear, rich gold with a foamy, white head. This is a big beer. A bit boozy with notes of ripe citrus, sticky pine and sweet bread. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with mild grassy bitterness and further sugary bread. Heavy.

Bottle from Tacoma boys. Pours a reddish amber. Scent is a nice hoppy dankness. Taste is pretty much the same with some piney notes to finish this beer of well. Good stuff.

Bottle, shared with Parky and Grippitis. Dark orange amber, light golden head. Piney hops combine with lightl toasty caramel alts in this malty but pleasant DIPA.

On tap @ Collective on Tap. Pours dark brownish amber with thin off white head. Aroma is thin, sweet caramel malt. Taste is clean medium caramel malt with tannic bitter hoppy finish. Somewhat harsh notes of oak, pine, and grass. Not bad, but I wouldn’t seek this out.

A nice one. Many times with this style -- particularly at high ABV like here -- the flavor is way too resin-forward. No such issues here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle:   Fiery amber, fairly clear, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Stale musty hop nose.   A little dank.   Cerealy up front, dank, sweaty, not all that hoppy.   Backside is very mealy, a bit biscuit, like honeycomb cereal on steroids.   Hides the 9.5% well, but isn’t bright nor all that fresh.   Finishes like it started, cereal like grains, a muted hoppiness, with a touch of heat.   Not a fan.

Cloudy dark amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is a great carbonation of soft and smooth but with good fine carbonation providing a nip. Lovely bittersweet pine hops, trace of mint. Underneath is good creamy malt with a touch of caramel. Finishes creamy soft with more piney hops, mostly sweet this time. Touch of fresh orange. Slight aniseed. Well joined up and super drinkable DIPA.

22oz bottle, pours a brown ambe. Bold aromas of grassy citrus and pine. Heavy flavors, fruity and orange, big bitterness. The flavors are disorderly and do not blend well together. Dry with a little sharp astringent finish.

22. Thanks a and a and d! Very nice treat. Pours a crystal clear burnished golden medium amber with a thin white head. Bright grapefruit and pine nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel mid palate with bright grapefruity tang and a ling crisp biting resiny finish.
