Draft. Brown beer with a dark cream colored head. Light malt aroma. Cocoa and malt flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Cocoa and caramel lingers with light malt.

Nice tap pour at the brewery. Dark brown with roast coffee and light chocolate. These notes show heavily in the palate as well as some nice layered caramel. excellent brown.

On-tap at Eureka!Burger Claremont A: The pour is indeed brown with some reddish hints and a creamy khaki head. S: A decent enough nuttiness on the nose with some nice toasted malts and a little bit of roast. Earthy hops provide a touch of bitterness. Unfortunately, the nose is somewhat buttery. T: Moderately roasty, but a little more than expected for a brown ale. Toasted malts with a moderate nuttiness and earthy hop character. No butter on the flavor, at least. Somewhat sweet, but a little too bitter. M: Medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation. O: Certainly not horrible, but not really all that great of a brown ale either.

I had this on tap at the brewery. This brown pour has nice coffee forward notes along with the typical roastiness. I liked it.

From the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center Denver 16/09/2010 Malty aroma. Mid brown amber coloured and hoppy with a hint of bitterness in a full malt finish.

On tap at Blue Palms. Pours with a hazy deep brown body and a large tan head. Aroma of brown sugar, roast, caramel, nuts and pepper. Flavors of caramel, roast, coffee and acetaldehyde. Lively with a somewhat dry finish for a brown ale.

Dark brown pour with light brown head. Had mild roast as well as a very nice hop profile. Not a big brown fan but this stuff was really good for that style. Well done guys!

My 2nd favorite to the Rye IPA and miles ahead of the rest of their line-up. Nice malty taste without getting heavy. Good session ale. Pours a cola color with a mild sweet aroma.

Sample at the Taps brew fest. Rating# 3. Very cloudy dark brown pour with a light tan head. Light roast with a decent toasted aroma. Flavor was much the same, but with a nice little hop bite in the end. (1326)
