A golden/amber beer that showcases bold American hops with the extra flavor dimension of the use of rye malt as 20% of the malt bill. This is a shockingly balanced IPA, in the sense that we include just enough malt character to counter the otherwise intense bitterness typically found in an American IPA, making for an immensely pleasant experience for your palate.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Columbus
Malt: Pale, Rye, Crystal

Can. The look is a lacing decent off white head, copper orange in color, and a slight haze. Styrofoam in the smell and burp. Rye in their with some malts. Hops fruit, ok, nothing great.

12 oz can. Light Amber with a decent sized cream colored head. Aroma is of rye, pine, leaves, light styrofoam, and herbs. Taste is of malt, spicy rye, pine, bitter herbs and light florals.

Pours a chill hazed golden brown from the can with dissipating off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma is heavy on the rye and caramel malt with faint citrus hops behind it. Taste is more balanced between the malt and hops, but still pervasive rye, nice bittersweet finish. Not a bad beer, Iím sure itís better fresh, this has oxidized a bit, but all around solid.

Hazy light amber color with small compact head. Lean IPA, the rye adds a mild nice edge to the flavor; the hopping is quite resiny, with some bitter oranges in the end.
Clean and very nice.

Not bad, especially for an IPA out of a can. Seems too light for a rye. Not as much flavor as a rye out of a bottle.

As of late I can not find the time to take tasting notes of each beer I sample. I would like to track and record my thoughts of each so I will just use the simple scoring rubric until more time is available. Temecula is a fun word to say.

Pour is a heavily hazed copper with a red hue and a right tan head. Nose has a strong rye spice to it, malt up front, caramel and grain. Hops are citrusy with a bit of pine and slightly stale. Taste is a bit more fresh, not as spicy or malt forward. Much more balanced, citrusy and piney with a light hop resin. Finish is where the rye spice comes in with a light bitterness and mildly carbonated medium body.

Pours light reddish to copper with white head. No real aroma weird for an ipa. Flavor was only lightly hoppy up front. A bit of malt sweetness but more takes over due to lack of hops. I really dont get much rye not much pepper at all. First beer from this brewery not impressed.

Hazy color, nice retention around the glass. Smell and taste of pine, rye seed, mild bitterness, overall a really solid ipa

Pour is a clear copper with a average white head. Aroma is hoppy, spicy and sweet malty. Flavor is a decent dark bready malt with some spicy pine hops to follow. No real huge rye presence but Iím guessing itís in there. This is more like a overly hopped marzen. Lots of bready malts with a decent hoppy back bone. Not what I was expecting but the combo of the bready malts and spicy hops works well here.
