A golden/amber beer that showcases bold American hops with the extra flavor dimension of the use of rye malt as 20% of the malt bill. This is a shockingly balanced IPA, in the sense that we include just enough malt character to counter the otherwise intense bitterness typically found in an American IPA, making for an immensely pleasant experience for your palate.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Columbus
Malt: Pale, Rye, Crystal

Can from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: clear golden amber beer with no carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: rye grain domination with high hoppy balance. Grassy notes. Taste: medium body with full rye grain taste balanced with grassy hops and small resin notes. Very easy drinkable. Nice beer. Good attenuation. Aftertaste: grassy and wet bitterness.

355 ml can.
Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Aroma is very hoppy with tropical fruits and some faint rye, resin and pine on the background. Flavor is resinous hoppy and slightly oily, orange and pineapple on the fruit side, malts and mild caramel sweetness. I’m usually not a fan of Rye IPAs but this is quite nice.

Can. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty - faint bread and lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, light - some caramel and light - some tropical fruitiness, some piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty - faint bread and lightly sweetish flavor, light - some caramel with light tropical fruitiness, some piney - light citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - faint bread and lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint tropical fruitiness, some piney - light citrus hoppyness, light alcohol. OK rye IPA - bit too much caramel for me.

Can @ home. Clear orange color, average to medium sized off-white head. Aroma is lovely: some malts, loads of hops, light fruit hops, quite some resin and pin, love it! Taste malts, hops, resinous and piney hops, resinous bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice, my kind of IPA!

Canned. Pours hazy golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of citrus, flovers, rye and herbal notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and solid bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice IPA indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Poured from can into British style pint glass. Rich gold color with slight haze. Not much of an upfront aroma but there is a late hint of fresh tropical fruits such as papaya. Initial taste of citrus followed by the rye bite and lingering blend of hoppy bitterness. Noticeable astringent alcohol warm apparent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Turner’s, Sheffield. Hazy, bright amber. Thin, sticky, white head. Toffee malts. Mint toffees. Big pine. Hop spice. Orange peel. Taste is sweet, and spicy bitter. Chewy mouthfeel. Easy drinking. Bitter finish, mostly resinous and citric. Decent, though far from fresh.
