Bottle: Dark dirty amber, a little on the orange side, large frothy sandy head, nice lacing. Soft sweet citrusy nose, rye, a little bit resiny. Smooth, bitter but not biting, citrus peel (candied), with a little pine and apricot bringing up the rear. Slight alcohol, a tad warming. Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full. Clean finish, Rye comes out a bit more here. Great balance, bitter, but with enough citrus and fruity sweetness to make it an enjoyable experience. One of the better rye IPAs I have had in a long while.

Bottle. Not sure why, but was not expecting much. Big airy head and tons of lacing. Big citrus aroma. Flavor was really good and does not have the overpowering taste of rye like some beers. Hoppy yet a subtle sweetness about it. Big hop bite in finish and even a bit oily on the tongue. Great ipa.
