T - Starts off with grapefruit, citrus, and pine hops with some sweet caramel malts and a bit of rye. Through the middle, pine hops come through with some more bitterness alongside more spicy and earth rye. The finish is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops, bitterness, spicy rye, and some caramel malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet, dry, and spicy finish.
D - Very drinkable. Great rye flavor with good overall balance and a nice hop profile.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle; poured an amber like color with a very large off white head. Aroma of rye, flowers, bread and fruit. Flavor was quite smooth. Initially finish was abrupt, but it did linger after a few tastes. Alot of juiciness and rye in the flavor up front. Hoppiness in the finish was quite subdued. Alcohol is as expected. Floral finish perks up at time. Solid brew.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Grassy, catty hop aromas rise off a hazy tan orange body with a soapy white head. Strong grapefruit and grassy hop bitterness burst out and are supported and balanced by a good caramel malt sweetness. There is a dry spiciness in the back (especially when it warms up a bit), but it’s hard to tell if it’s the rye or the hops. Finishes gloriously both sweet and bitter. This is a well made West Coast IPA with the added bonus of rye.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a small white head that soon dissipates to a ring. The aroma is mild and undistinguished with a trace of sweetened grapefruit and a hint of rock candy. The flavor is lightly spicy with classic rye flavors backed up by piney hops and a bit of soured citrus. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: meh, not much to recommend here. I love rye but this one just does not work for me, perhaps freshness is an issue, a date on the bottle would be nice.
