A surprisingly complex American Blonde Ale anchored by a hearty malt backbone. Bookended by hop notes that provide a nectar aroma and eventually give way to a clean, dry finish. It’s refreshing, and a fitting reward for the trek to Oklahoma’s summit. Pairs well with the expansive views of the Cimarron Valley from atop Black Mesa.

Just OK but unbalanced. Faint malt aroma with a slight hint of hops. Blonde ale color and a light palate with a harsh finish. Flavors were mixed with a hop bitterness that didn’t mix well with the malty base.

Pint on tap. Yeah, not great. too bitter for a blonde in my opinion, and not a very smooth mouthfeel. Overall too harsh for the style and not enough redeeming qualities to mark it any higher. That said, nothing sticks as far as poor quality.

Pours clear yellow with a white head. Light aroma of grass and grains. Taste is slightly fruity and grainy with a bitter finish.

Sampled from the tap at rePUBlic. Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grain with a hint of sweet grain and underlying grass. Flavor has more of a combination of grain and grass with just a hint of earthy light fruits.

On tap. Clear golden color with off white, lasting foam. Mild light berry fruits, floral, honey aromas. Medium body with average co2. Lightly sweet honey biscuit flavors with subtle floral, earthy hoppage--not bad
