Grabbed the last bottle of this stuff off the shelf. Pours almost deep copper/amber with a small thick white head. Has a deep hop aroma, resiny pine and slight citrus. Lots of soapiness/malt on the taste and for some reason I get a punch of cedar. Lots of bitterness, oily texture, soft carbonation and long bitter finish. Really awesome beer, I can only wonder what hops are in here!

Clear dark amber color with dense activity. Creamy beige 2 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with good legs. Flavors of pineapples, orange, mango, lemon, caramel, butter, sweet grains, floral and herbal spices. A little sweet with tropical fruits and bitter piney hops. Slick oily medium body with prickly carbonation. Strong finish, long tongue coating and astringent feel of thick grassy piney hops tar and very sharp citrus. A little excessive, acidic, and missing some freshness. The flavors are nice, yet quickly overwhelmed by the heavy finish. Lacking a little balance. Overall good quality craft, very good if you like highly bitter IPAs.

Golden orangy and brutally bitter with a slight soapy quality. Decent length. Maybe lacks some dimension but still pretty good.

Rating #2191 - 2015.11.20 - Bottle from CBI Clear golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. Citrusy sweet, earthy hop notes on the nose.. Mouthfeel crisp, mild alcohol warmth, low-medium carbonation. Taste is sweet orangey notes, a grassy spicy bite, assertive bitterness. Pretty tasty.

Rich amber colour with light white head. Aroma is caramel and light pine which carries nicely into the flavour. The palate is nice and thickish... not too syrupy. Finishes nice with a little lingering bitter.

Bottle from LCBO. Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of floral hops, lime chutney and caramel. Flavour of orange peel, grass and a peppery finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Very hoppy but lacking definition.

Second bottle, from LCBO, first one was drunk by the towels off the floor, the lucky bastards. Anyhoo, now that Iíve had the pleasure of actually pouring it and not dropping it on the floor (while completely sober, I might add), it appears deep, almost coppery amber, clear, with rather thick creamy white head. The aroma is... indicating this oneís going to be a bitter hop bomb... Extremely resiny, oily, citrus peel, etc...Tastes mellower, yet still resiny, hop oils and citrus peel, but the loads of malts (as seen in the deep dark colour) really balance the hops nicely. The result is a bit desserty - massively sweet, biscuity, fruity, but also, as said, very citric and resiny... Basically thatís how I like my DIPA-s. And the alcohol is fairly well hidden. Soft and full on the palate with extremely fine carbonation not without a certain fizziness. A lovely brew. Admittedly not amongst the most refined or elegant DIPA-s but certainly very enjoyable.

Very bitter and hoppy. Dank fruit. Dark copper pour from 22oz bottle in Banff. Not bad. A big mouthful for sure
