[5143-20130305] Tap. Light orange tea and lychee fruit hops aroma. Clear, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Tons of white tea and orange lemon in the flavour. Medium body. Quite tasty. (7/3/8/3/14) 3.5

Draught at C’est What, March 5. Pours a hazy gold with a small diminishing fizzy white head. Semi-mild aroma of yeast, grain, light spices, some light sweetness and fruit. Pleasant flavour is spicy, yeasty and fruity along with some grain and sweet malt -- some similarities to their Saison. Average bodied. Enjoyable, I could easily quaff a few of these.

2013-03-05. Very lightly hazy bright orange amber body with a small white head. 3+ Bit of an odd vegetal character up front, fruity with a mild spice character that grows as you go. Vegetal noted is subdued in the secondary in favour of fruit and spice. Similar aroma, modest spice and fruit. 7+ Average plus body modest carbonation. Has a fair bit of similarity to the Saison. Enjoyable but just a touch rough around the edges. On tap at C’est What, Toronto

November 9, 2012 - on draught at Volo. Very hazy/cloudy orange-gold with a large and lasting creamy off-white head. Smells and tastes quite a lot like a slightly spicier and stronger version of their own Summer Saison - sweet, spicy, yeasty, fruity, not quite a sweet though, maybe some orange peel too. Thick, astringent from the spicing, solidly carbonated, a dry finish too - I really liked it, I would drink it again - even in summer.

From notes, On tap at Black Oak’s Christmas Party. Aroma is nicely spiced with balanced malty sweetness and aromatic hops. Flavours of biscuity malts, and nice hop bitters. Nice carbonation.

The beer poured a translucent pale gold colour with a thin cream coloured head. Aroma was weak spices, grains, and soap. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation. Flavour was boring, mainly tasting like a spiced blonde ale.

Pale golden pour. Tight white head. The aroma is lovely and spicy. A little bit of clove and some black pepper as well. Fresh pale malt and a soft spicy hoppiness as well. I like the spice mixture - a bit of cardamom in the mix as well. It's lean-bodied but well-constructed. I'm kind of surprised at the low ratings. There is a touch of vanilla and some soft spiciness. Sort of a flinty character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours like a golden lager but leaves good lacing. Smells a little like the Quebec on lees beers but there isn’t a huge aroma on this. Crisp palate with a little sourness. Pretty boring. On tap at volos.
