12 oz bottle via Homebrew Myst Swap (thanks Rudolf!). A nice black pour with a huge tan head. Nose is chocolate, roasted grains, caramel. Taste starts and ends sweet, with some caramel, cocoa, oats, vanilla, and a little coffee and soy. The cherries are there but a fairly subtle, perhaps a bit too subtle.Hops are not real noticeable. Carbonation is moderately high, body is light.

smells like average imperial stout, cant detect much of the cherry or chocolate. has more of a coffee taste in my thinking. fairly viscous for an imp stout. on tap at volos

On tap. Black pour, big tan head. Aroma is cocoa, coffee. The cherries don't really show up until it warms, so definitely not overpowering. Medium body. I'm not getting much of anything off this, although it does have a unique cocoa finish. Like real cocoa mom used to make in a pot, except without the sugar. Slight sour cherry on the finish. It's solid but there's something missing.

2 year old bottle from my cellar. Pours a deep black with a frothy mocha head which settles down to a fine lace. Aromas of cocoa nibs, cocoa powder, milk chocolate & sour cherries. Cocoa, bittersweet chocolate on the palate with a great sour cherry flavour. Nice roasted bitterness on the finish. I truly wish this was made all year round!

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2011 On Tap at BarVolo. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma of dark malt, syrup and coffee, not too much cherry. flavour is syrup and dark chocolate with muted cherry flavour. somewhat tart. watery mouth-feel. Felt that the cherry flavour was interesting but not all that well integrated. Meanwhile body was pretty light and watery.
