[Draught at C’est What] Pours a very dark amber-brown with a small long-lasting creamy tan head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, honey, brown sugar, dark fruit and a good amount of yeast. Sweet malty, yeasty flavour along with a hint of spice, some brown sugar and a bit of alcohol. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good.

Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue. The small offwhite head leaves some lacing. Aroma is made of (light) fruits, (light) candi sugar and light something else (spicy esters). Taste is sweet but not cloying, no perceivable bitterness. Flavors of caramel and raisins. Carbonation is moderate, body a bit too light for my liking. Not bad but not something that would replace the classic belgian dubbels in my yearly diet.

On tap @PubMilos. Clear reddish brown with dark fruits, hazelnut, caramel, Belgian yeast. Drily bitter with a slight sourness and a hard alcohol burn. Loads of flavour, medium-bodied, long finish. Good stuff.

Nice sweet Belgian dubbel, with a tinge of fruitiness. Dark, a lot of flavour. Really great beer. I liked it a lot. On tap at BarVolo, Toronto. Shared with Northropfrye.

2013-06-17. Nice brown body with a modest tan head and lace. 3++ Sweet sugary flavour, caramel malt, modest alcohol. 7++ Sweet aroma, notes of sugar, caramel malt. Smooth average plus body is just a touch thinner than my preference but I’m being picky. Pretty nice stuff, I enjoy the sweetness of it. On tap at Bar Hop, Toronto
