Cask. En fût, verre de dégustation au Beau’s Oktoberfest 2012 (Vankleek Hill, ONT). Arôme: Légère odeur de caramel. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée avec une très faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de caramel avec une pointe de noix. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de caramel en arrière goût. (Rating #4577)

From notes. On cask at Volo. Pours a slightly cloudy light brown with a nice foamy head. Aroma is sweet and herbal with slight hop bitter. Flavour malty, with notes of wood and hop bitter. Nicely balanced and quite drinkable.

A reddish brown ale with a thi off white head. In aroma, a sweet caramel with light butterscotch, nutty, OK. In mouth, a smooth sweet nutty malt, British hops, not bad. Cask at Beau’s Oktoberfest Sept 29 2012.

Cask, Black Oak Tap Takeover at Volo. Sep. 18. Pours a murky orange-brown with a spare diminishing off-white head. Aroma has lots of honey along with malt, chocolate and some nuts. Slightly watery flavour of nuts, honey, malt, some chocolate and a light bitter finish. Average bodied. Just good.

Aroma sweet front, noted chamomile with softer hop aroma. Good.
Appearance presented with honey haze, light brown ale with tanned off white cap. 3+
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied, slightly oily. Fairly drinkable with good clean base. Woody bitterness. Clean malty finish. Solid.
