Commercial Description:
This is a darker offering from Black Oak. Rich smooth taste, slightly roasty and chocolaty. It's a bit less hopped, but still has a fantastic balance with the malt.

Grassy hop nose. Malt and a slightly nutty flavor. Slightly red in the glass with a tan head. Light hops, toasted malt. Very smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled - Smokeless Joes Toronto. Nutty aroma and a good brown colour but little head. The flavour is nutty and thick. A satisfying first introduction to drinking in Canada.

Bottle. Clear medium brown, light head. Strong sweet malty nose, very light nuttiness but really more bock-y than anything else. Nice nutty, balanced flavor; more hops than most; light herbal qualities throughout. Good body. Nothing super-exciting, but very nice.

Darker brown colour with moka head. Nice hoppy nose with a bit of malt. Nice malty mouthfeel wih just enough hops to pleasure the mouth, with nice citrus in mouth, and a wee bit of nuts. Yum. Yum.

Reddish brown, light tan head. Malt aroma along with some nuts and cocoa. Similar flavor, some hops, too. Medium body. Pretty nice, thanks jercraigs.

Dark redish brown with a long lasting small white head. Toasty, nutty, slightly fruity aroma. Malty with hints of nuts and roasted barley, good balancing bittering hops. Not a bad nut brown.

Clean oration of peppery earth and light citrus...Sweet almonds behind the surprisingly confident hop bitterness...Caramel apples for the hop-inclined...

Very dark with reddish brown highlights, enticing nutty/malt aroma. Has the malt character and mouthfeel of a stout. Sweet and nutty with enough hops to balance fairly well. An enjoyable effort for this style
