They always make me happy!
GOld body, medium sized white head.
Moderately hoppy and maltyaromas . Bitter sweet, and very distinct. Citrus and grass also in the taste. Crisp finish. Nice beer to drink a lot of! MillStreetMan (152), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2005 This rating is based upon cask draft, which is quite good. Bottled, less so. Very much less so. On cask draft, it’s got a good clean flavour, backed up with gentle hops and a bit of crispness. Quite good, whereas the bottle just tastes like generic crappy beer. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA

A little dry hopping would be nice. Very light amber colored. Decent flavor. Light malts and hop. Initially sweet and then a very satisfying hop bitterness. Pailhead (2583), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2004 Bottle: Very light aroma. Hops are somewhat detectable but that’s about it. Pours a transparent gold with a small white ehad. Lightly sweet up front with an okay hop aftertaste. A little light but decently balanced although maybe a little more is needed in the malt. Slightly thin. pootzboy (1046), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2004 Bottle: poured a deep gold with amber tones...1 finger white cap that laces well on the glass. Nose is subtle but dominated by fruity smells over floral hops...malt gives a restrained musty-sweet inflection. Good smooth mouthfeel is smooth punctuated by doughy malts. Piney hops mingle with solid bready malts to produce a very drinklable pale ale with some IPA character...has substantial taste but is smooth like a mild pale. Finish is nice almost cider-like with the hop and malt balance so close i t produces a fruity dry departure.
A very good session ale. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Pale malt aroma, with a hint of fruit. Some orange and a touch of caramel as well. Light lemony citrus. Flavour is well-balanced, light sweetness on the front with a tingly bitter finish. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
