This is our flagship beer. Medium body, beautiful golden colour, good mouth feel and a refreshing hop finish. We use six selected malts and five different kinds of premium hops. This recipe is secret, but the Pale Ale is very tasty and hoppy.

[bottle] Excellent caramel aroma with some refreshing citrus notes that are from both fermentation and hops. Almost clear bronze under a bubbly patch and ring and a thin cover. Flavour is pleasant citrusy hops in good balance with spicy caramel, but a quick shot of hops bitterness that ends with mineral water. Good start, but lacking finish. Light body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish.

I have had this one for longer than I should have, not sure which Canada trade it came from but I will give a shout out to Viggo since he is a pimp. A: Pours a pale honey like golden color with a nice tall white head. Great retention, and spotty lace from top to bottom of my glass. S: Simple aromas of crackery grainy malt, candy sweetness, and mild grassy hops. T: Simple, on the malty side but I did let it sit around for a bit. The cereal grains are there, with hints of bread and caramel. Very subdued hop profile.... mostly grassy green hops with just a touch of citrus. M: On the lighter side of medium, not bad really.

341 bottle. Pours yellow orange with a decent white head. Nutty, grainy and a touch of grassy and floral hop aromas on the nose. Sweet malt front and lingering dryish moderate bitter finish, medium mouthfeel. Not a bad brew, but as far as American Pale Ales go, not at the top.

On tap at Rebel. Pours a clear yellow gold with medium-sized lasting white head; decent retention. Hoppy aroma (pine) with notes of grass and light maltiness. Hops prominent in taste with nice pale malt balance and a light grassiness, maybe a hint of citrus. Crisp finish. Very tasty - this has been my go-to session beer for several years now.

Pours gold with a thin head. Aroma is caramel maltiness with some woody, fruity hop. Flavour is very nice fruity and resinous/piney hop with a medium toasty caramel malt body and a dry bitter finish.

341 bottle in 6-pack from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. 05MA10.

App.: Clear deep golden with a fair off-white white foam. Aroma: Pleasantly fruity malts and hops, some toast and biscuit, slightly earthy, British, hints of caramel and toffee, slightly peppery, definitely vegetal, I don’t love it. Palate: Medium body, sparse yet pointy effervescence with an overall, slightly oily feel. Flav.: Dusty, musty, biscuity, earthy, slight austere, British caramel/toffee, still vegetal, some decent resinous, earthy, slightly floral hops; dry with fair bitterness and a surprisingly pleasant malty finish (lacks the vegetal/earthiness).

Could be a style thing. Liked the bitterness, didn’t love the aromas and flavours.

This beer poured a medium brown color, smaller head, aroma is very floral. Beer has a smooth texture to it. This has some hoppiness to it but trails off, needs a little more. Only 5% so I can drink a few and be content, vs some higher ABV hoppy beers I have had.

I tried this beer on tap on September 23, 2010 at "The Beerbistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada during Toronto’s 1st annual Beer Week. The beer was translucent gold with orange hues and a white foamy head. The aroma was grainy malt, some floral hops, and a hint of yeastiness. The mouthfeel was weak to medium bodied, with medium carbonatoin. The flavour was watered down malt, and detracted from the looks and aroma of this beer. The finish was bitter, but not so much hoppy.
