Bottle at RBESG. Dark golden with a whisp of head. Nice balance and plenty of hop and malt complexity due to the ingredients list. Hops win the day however. Pretty decent all in all but let down by a slight soapy note. Magicdave6 (5490), London, Greater London, England

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 26, 2007 341 mL bottle. Orange gold with just a film of head. Aroma is wet hay and American hops. Taste is malty sweet, with a good dose of hops. Very nice finish. Mouthfeel is a little thin and tinny. Not bad. matt7215 (959), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Pours a pale gold with a small foamy ring and some lace. Aroma of sweet malt and a bit of alcohol in there, too. Tastes hoppy at first - plenty of bittering hops - but the bitterness wears off and a weak lagerish pale malt finish. Good carbonation and a light body. Alright as a session beer, but it could have used some more malt & finishing hops. Rcr84 (33), Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Great pale ale. Very well hopped. Nice to find a beer like this on the market, if only more people would try this over a pathetic beer like Keiths. RaphaelN (195), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 15, 2007 Dark gold ale on tap at Volo. Flavour was offensive in the way of bitterness and stuffed with poorly grown hops. Palate was fairly complex, but I didn’t bother to discover their ’secret’ as it was throwing me off. Slightly malty and a clean finish. Oh boy, I just wasn’t having a good day with my selections.
