Very subdued beer, it has a nice dry finish. But the body is missing!

Decent hop nose. Light copper with white head that recedes to cover. Carbonation looks good. Some lace. Bitterness balances nicely with fresh malt flavour. Citrus-lemon undertones. Body is medium. Slightly syruppy. Could perhaps use higher carbonation. Simple, clean and well-brewed, this is an enjoyable, straight ahead version of a pale ale though by it’s well-balanced restraint, it seems more like an English Pale Ale regardless of American ingredients. Draught at BarVolo. Pours a sparkling amber with an average size creamy long-lasting white head. Nice carbonation, nice colour. Looks really good. Aroma of hops, malt and fruit. Flavour has lots of malt, too much yeast and not enough hops. Not bad but I prefer it in the bottle.

[157-20061225] 341mL. Hoppy, light fruity aroma. Golden body with medium-sized centralized bubbles and a medium-lasting foamy white head. Hoppy roundness in flavour with hints of rooty vegetables. Light-medium body. Nice togetherness, good to repeat.

Thick head. light amber. Nice hop aroma similar to an IPA. Lasting head and lacing. Strong hop flavour. Very nice.

0.34 l bottle. Golden copper color. Malty aroma with a bit dull and grassy notes of dry hops. Very mellow malty and caramelly flavor with medium bitterness and restrained lemony-fruity hoppiness.

Thanks to hopdog. Pour a translucent goldent ornag ewith a small white head. Aomr was sweet and malty, grains and some light hops. Flavor was along the same lines.

(Bottle) Pours a thin, white, quick-dissipating head and a deep amber body with sediment and high carbonation. Great hoppy nose. Good malt and hop flavours mix with a hop finish. Good.

From the cask at the Beerlicious festival in Toronto. A nice fuggles hop aroma, slightly fruity. Medium rich malt flavor with pretty decent hops all around. Nice enough.

Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Deep golden colour. Moderate hops in the aroma. Relatively hoppy flavour.
