On cask at Volo. Pours a cloudy copper colour with big lasting white head. Aroma is caramel, herbal hops and maybe the faintest hint of something pomegranate. Flavour is caramel, herbal, citrus and a light pomegranate. Not really a pom bomb (pretty much the pale ale with a little bit of pomegranate) but pleasant enough.

Cask at Volo. Cloudy, orange/amber pour. Aroma of some sweet fruit (I can’t say for sure if that is pomegranate...) with definite citrus overtones. Taste is citrusy, and the pomegranate struggles to come through. I actually liked that as just the hint of it was good. Interesting, and came across better in the beautiful weather. Not sure if it is a style I’d seek out often. Hazy golden pour. Thin white head. The nose is actually fairly citrusy with a touch of light fruitiness. The pomegranate is really very subtle in here. Moderately bitter with some soft orange peel and a touch of black pepper as well. There is a slight kiss of fruit on the finish. Decent.
