I tried this beer on June 24, 2011 at "The Beerbistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden orange colour with a 1" creamy white head. The aroma was musk, earth, and grains. The mouthfeel was weak bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was slightly sweet, earthy, a little spice, and grass.

Draft. Pours a crisp orange body with an egg shell white head. Citrus and sweet notes, light wheat tones a touch of floral hopppiness. Orange peal, light herbs with a drying finish. A bit thin and soft to finish. Okay.

My rating for this beer seems to be an outlier, by far. Nonetheless, I had this at St. Veronous in Peterborough, Ontario, when it was featured as the "guest beer". I had ernestly meant to spend the week-end drinking my way through St. Veronous’ massive collection of Belgians, when this brew stopped me in my tracks. I spent four sessions at the establishment and couldn’t resist having this again and again. Aroma: 5/5. Simply fantastic! Citrus, honey, and long-forgotten teen-age girlfriends. Apperance: decently thick head that only abates after a few minutes to leave a lovely light covering and decent ring. Taste: huge corriander and a little citrus. Sweeter than expected, but wholly welcome. Good malt backing, but fruit, flowers, spice and honey are the stars. Supremely drinkable as any session should. Last drops go down like an epic greek tragedy...

341 ml bottle from the brewery. Pours light yellow in colour, fluffy, slightly off white head, slightly cloudy. Aroma is slightly sweet, grassy, hint of corrriander? Taste is light pale malt, with a slightly citrusy finish. Very re-freshing. I could drink this all summer long!!

On tap at the Golden Kiwi, Cambridge. Pours light yellow, with a fluffy white head. Dry dusty aroma typical of Belgian ales. Flavour is light malts with a dry finish, and then a lingering bitterness. Excellent patio beer.

(Old BA rate - bottle shared at Puzzl’s) Light yellowy gold; fairly clear; nice foamy eggshell head. Lightly spicy; yeasty and bready. Grainy; light spice; citric; touch sweet in the flavor. Light MF; and bubbly carbonation. Nice drinking; interesting enough and tasty; refreshing. Overall, a nice drinking saison

Aroma is quite estery with a typical Belgian yeast aroma. Taste is a bit thin but with some good orange and apricot coming though as well as a bit of spice, not sure what exactly but it kind of gives a slight warming. Solid beer just seemed a bit thin.

Bottle
Appearance : Clear golden small head. Discrete lacing.
Aroma : Some spices with some yeasty esters. Hints of alcohol. Some malt with notes of cooked veggies.
Taste : Light esters with light malt. Some spices. A bit dusty.
Palate : Thin body, soft carbonation.
Overall : Quite drinkable and refreshing. A tiny bit hot (maybe because of the spices or the alcohol). Not a lot of esters. Not a bad one but not a good one either.
