Canned. Dark brown, small head. Aroma of licorice and orange. Thick and oily, but clean and simplistic moputhfeel. Strikingly salty and with enough body to hide the alcohol. Roasty finish.

@ UDRM. The aroma has coffee and caramel malts. Dark brown coloured beer with a beige head. The taste is sweet, has coffee, bit roast, caramel, black currant and metal. Some carbonation there. Light bodied.

(330ml can) Pours a dark brown (near black) with a medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, and raisins. Flavor of roasted malt, cocoa, and earth with a dry, bitter finish.

Can. Dark brown in colour, Aroma was of sweet chocolate liqueur, coffee and cream. Flavour was of licorice, roasted malt, butter and chocolate. The alcohol was hidden fairly well. Medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes sweet, slightly dry. Neat to try,

Can. Unique! Wasn’t expecting an 8% stout when I picked this up in Siem Reap. Black, thin, nice aroma. Not a great beer, but a great surprise from a region dominate by crap lager.

33cl Can at The Good, The Bad & The Ugly tasting as Foreign Extra Premium Stout. Deep dark brown to black colour, beige head. Aroma is hard roasted malts, plastic, burn, rubber. Flavour is coffee, hard roasted malts, light cream, bitter roasted finish with some fruity notes. Light bodied.

A fence-sitting score because I am not an expert taster andI must admit to having in the past been more concerned about quantity than quality. Pearls to swine. But as a Phnom Penh resident I am interested in Black Panther because of its price, or rather the difference in its price. It is half the cost of other stouts such as ABC and Guinness (Malaysia). I don’t understand why. It tastes fine to me and when I drink ABC and Guinness I don’t think to myself that they are so great as to demand twice the price. I drink my stout with a dash of lemonade. Yes, I am a Philistine.

Bottle at Unofficial Dutch RB Meeting. Black pour, some earth, dung in the aroma. Roasted flavor, some bitterness and a hint of coffee in the finish. A hint of sweetness.

Dutch Ratebeer Meeting Baarn. Black appearance, brown head. Coffee and some fruit in aroma. Bitter and somewhat metallic flavor.

12oz can-thanks Oakes-pours a tan ring for a head and brown color. Aroma is musty dark malt, dark fruit. Taste is grain/musty dark malt, some earthy hops.
