Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Tons of fresh hops aroma floral and fruity. The Malt was masked by the huge amount of hops. This was a Hopheads dream beer. Big big flavor. Floral finish was sharp and clean.

On tap at Brouwer’s Washington Beer Fest. Hop forward, with a predominant apricot note. Slightly dilute, with a transparent light orange color. Not too shabby.

Fresh, hoppy, and very session-able. Emphasis on fresh, since Washington Sorachi Ace and Washington Crystal hops were trucked in for brewing within three hours of harvesting. On tap and from the growler, pours a clear light amber with a one finger white head that diminishes to a persistent ring and top layer of bubbles. Minimal lacing. Clean crisp aroma of fresh baked bread and crisp Granny Smith apples. Wet hop flavor is incredibly fresh tasting, but not vegetable. Malt character takes a bit of a back seat to the hops. But the undried buds have such a unique and delicate taste and feel, any stronger malt base would overwhelm. Tastes of honeydew mellon, light citrus, and sourdough bread, with just the slightest hint of honey. Finishes very dry, with a lingering pucker to your whole mouth. Overall, so crisp and flavorful it begs for a lager version.
