Appearance: Almost clear medium bright copper. Finger of white foam. Nose: Orange zest. Sweet malt. Bits of spice and just a touch of bitter Taste: Mostly a orange citrus hop presence over a medium sweet malt body. A bit of zing, for lack of a better way of putting it. very nice. Body: Medium without much fanfare Parting thoughts: a very nice IPA. Orange in a pleasant way without becoming overwhelming.

Bomber from Tavour. Big nose of citrus, spicy and soapy hops. Some tropical fruit in there as well...more in the flavor. Sorachi Ace is a weird hop with a citrus IPA, but it works here. Moderately bitter with a dry bittersweet finish.

650 ml bottle. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of sweet malts, muddled tropical fruit, dough and limes. Flavors of peppery citrus, tropical fruit spruce, doughy malts and dill. Light bitter spicy finish. Super stuff.

22 Oz bottle pour, purchased at the brewery. Pours a bright golden color with a fizz ring head. These guys impress me more and more each day. Nice fruity flavor here. Like a fruity cereal taste with a light bitter hop finish. Nice citrus summer IPA. Good stuff.

On tap at the Hop Shop Ballard. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of earthy and sweet citrus with a straw backbone. Flavor has more sweet citrus with a bit of bitterness and a straw backbone.

Bottle (22oz) Light clear golden. Big white head. Nice citrus aroma. Taste was all kinds of fruit but with a peel bitterness in the end. There seems to be a slightly metallic taste in the end too. Pretty nice overall. Would prefer in 12oz portions.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2015 I gave this a 2.1 overall score on 08.16.14. I probably had a dead IPA. REREVIEW: Bomber dated 06.17.15. Poured into a tulip on 08.14.15. A: Orange, herbs, rose, and candied lemon. It’s very unique. It’s like a soft perfume. A: 1 finger head fades to a ring and very thin spots of foam. Hazy reddish orange body. T: Follows the nose. Herbs, orange, and rose dominate. Candied lemon and vanilla are subtle. P: Creamy smooth with a crisp finish. It’s pretty light and fluffy in the mouth. O: I expected something like Citrusinensis, which is good, but this is on another level.
