Draft at the brewpub. They said this is drier than they wanted for their pale, and thus ’proto’. Hazy copper, fluffy head. Caramel aroma, some dry hops. Sweet up front, building to a strong dry bitter finish. Sticky, skunky, resiny hops. Yummy.

Draught. Not much going on here. Faint malty aroma, hardly detectable. Ordinary flavour, not unpleasant, not pleasant. ’N bietjie mout, ’n bietjie hop, Bland finish

Cat-ass funk aroma. Stale grainy bread malt, moderate caramel sweetness. Some vegetative british hop notes.
