Man this stuff is good. Very malts forward but just enough cops so that it’s an IPA. Can drink the living beJesus out of this beer.

Poured from draught into a pilsner glass today. A: Grapefruit, sweet malt, flower, and maybe some grass. A: 2 finger head that recedes to some spots of foam. Hazy dark orange body. T: Grapefruit, flower, and honey malt dominate. Pine is subtle and lingering. P: Smooth and easy drinking. It has a little bit of resin. O: It’s great with food.

650 ml bottle Nate P. carried back from his West Coast trip. Color is an orange / clear gold. Aroma is citrus, light floral with sweet malts.

The balance between hops and malt is rather good although it does lean a tad on the sweet side. The hops and bitterness comes from a mixture of citrus and pine and mild floral hints. The brew shows a mild trace of alcohol in the finish. Citrus and floral are more present than pine. Can tell this bottle was fresh from the brewery because the hops are still alive in well. It a nice standard IPA.

Aroma of citrus and hops, pours a caramel color with a lasting white well laced head. Bitter taste of hops with a dry ful bodied feel and a bitter hop finish.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma of light stone fruit and citrus. Med + body. Flavor of very lightly roasty caramel and a little citrus and a good amount of light stone fruit. Nice.

On tap @ FX McRory’s, Seattle. Light orangish-amber, low off white head. Dull dull dull. Maybe it’s because I had this after Lagunitas Sumpin’ Weisse, but man it was just not good. Tea-like and herbal, malt-dominated, lacking brightness, lacking punch. This beer did not do it for me.

Seattle Taproom, Seatac. Golden-Amber with a frothy head. Aroma is dry and woody. Chewy up front, with a caramel forward with dryish hop note. Sort of old school but not really - a lighter malt chewiness, with some biscuit. I guess I’d prefer not to talk so much about the malt when drinking IPA but ok.
