Pours a strong gold. Smells similar to their totempole pale ale. Plenty of bitter, and floral notes.

luttonm (2286) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 23, 2010
Draft at Beveridge in West Seattle. Rocking house IPA. Deep juciy orange pour with full creamy off-white head. Nose is toasty malt and a lot of fresh, chewy, stinky hops. Body is full and juicy, round lemon-orange and pine fresh. Juicy with some bittering on finish. Full coating body. Caramel and hop resin. Simply Rad.

On tap @ Black Raven. Clear light amber pour with a minimal head leaving a coarse lace. Grassy hops nose which gives way to a tart grapefruit beginning. Has a medium-heavy, medium roast malt body tasting of toast, caramel and biscuit. Not balanced like an IPA. Finish is short with fading bitter hops and a sucrose sweetness.

Brewsmith (148) - Torrance, California, USA - AUG 9, 2010
On tap at the brewery on 8-4-10. A very solid IPA. Pours a clear deep gold with a nice white head on top. Big hop aroma and firm bitterness. Slightly biscuit/toasty malt character in the background without being sweet or too heavy. Crisp and dry with a medium body. Finish is bitter and hoppy but does not linger leaving you wanting another sip. Very nice example of an American/West Coast IPA.

Golden in color, clear with a thin head. Nice hoppy aroma with a good earth and fruity aromas lingering. Nice malt flavor with that spice and hops presence to make this a wonderful brew. The hops where floral with some fruit qualities. A tasty little treat for the day.

From Skyview, as Inauguration IPA. A good ipa. The flavor and aroma are right, with citrus and bitter hops, but what is there is far too light. A lack of palate really hurts this beer. Gold color.
