This is quintessential of many WA IPAs, not overly hopped or above 6.5% ABV. The result is a more drinkable session IPA. A slight woodgrain taste adds character. Fun little spot--order a UFO pizza while there.

Enjoyed IPA at the tap house. Ultra pine aroma and taste. The 6.9% ABV is concealed well with the slight citrus flavors. Worth enjoying again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black IPA. Little nose from the mug. A mild malt sweetness and gentle hops, finishes with more piney hops. Easy drinking but not interesting IPA

Draught at malt & vine just down the road from the brewery. very fresh citrus, pine, and funk hops but with a solid fresh grain aroma. Flavor is fairly sweet with bitterness in the background. there is something a bit stale or metallic i don’t love. The hop character continues more or less the same. Solid.

Very sweet tasting IPA. A little light on the body. Hides the 6.8 alcohol very well. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

Draught at Ölrepubliken Göteborg. Pours dark almost black with an off white head. Aroma of chocolate. Ful body but not enough Hops and bitterness for an IPA in my taste.

On tap at Hudson. Pours orange/blond mix. Smell is citrus, fruit, and pine. Taste is pine hop, bitter and floral, mellow and easy drinking. Good IPA.

Very well balanced. Didn't expect the malt. Very happy with this IPA. Worth the very long drive to Ray's Cafe in Seattle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Malt and Vine. Pours dark golden with thin head. Aroma is light hops and bready malts. Taste is crisp citrus hops with balanced caramel toasted malts. Both the hops and malt stick with you through the finish. Maybe the fact that you can only get this on draft makes this better? Either way, one of the top 2 or 3 Washington IPAs around.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that evaporates slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of fresh citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, citrus and caramel malt. The finish is hoppy with a grapefruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

Solid IPA. Deep gold hue with a lasting, lofty head and great lace. Crisp and rich on the tongue. Toasty malts with a subtle caramel sweetness and bread-dough aromas. Snappy hops from start to finish. Notes of grass, pine and flower petals. Citrus in the aftertaste (grapefruit, lemon). Healthy but balanced bitterness. Bold IPA, but it also has finesse.
