Danish: Oak n’ Islay edition er No Name Stout lagret med egetræ, der har trukket en tid i lækker Skotsk Caol Ila whisky fra Islay. Egetræet bidrager med fine vaniljenoter, og den kraftige og røgede whisky bidrager med… ja whisky og noter af tørverøg. Nu har vi bevæget os væk fra morgenmåltidet, og er nærmest ved desserten – nyd den til et stykke rigtig god mørk chokolade, eller en god kop kaffe, og du er et skridt nærmere himmeriget.

pitch black, smooth large light brown to white head. aroma is roasted stuff, smoked peat, vanilla, wood, whiskey. flaovr is peat, whiskey, vanilla, sweetness, oak. Fantastic flavor.

From tap. Pours dark brown with a one finger thick, creamy and chocolate brown head. Aroma is roasted malty and light vanilla. Mild smoked and wooden flavoured to a sweet dark and roasted malt base. Lingering malty and dense chocolate into a dry and dark finish.

Draught at Kbh. BeerFest2010. Black - brown head. Berries, chocolate, whiskey, islay, vanilla, fruity, burned, peated, wooden, oakey, light thin body and finish.

Draught. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter great flavor. Strong islay notes. Long wonderfull finish. Creamy palate. This is the right way to barrel beer.

Sample at Copenhagen beerfestival. Nice creamy tan head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, vanilla, wood, chocolate and coffee.

07-MAY-2010, @Beerfestival.dk. Straight after the regular stout. Easy drinking stout (under the circumstances). Not really much better than the regular. But still a fine brew. Please give us more, Black Rooster:)

Near black with a tiny beige short lasting head. Aroma had burned malt, dark chocolate, smoke and peated malt. Flavour had plenty of smoke, oak, vanilla, dark chocolate and burned malt. Finished smoked.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, whiskey, and peated smoke. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, whiskey, and peated smoke, as well as medium notes of soy sauce, leading to a dry, bitter, and roasted finish.

Draught at Københavns Ølfestival 2010. Pitch black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel, dark chocolate and liquorice with notes of whisky. Roasted flavour of caramel, dark chocolate, liquorice and whisky. Dry roasted finish.
