COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught @ Lord Nelson, Hyskenstraede 9, 1207 Copenhagen, Denmark.
Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, butter notes, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange - grapefuit bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100312]

Fra fat på Lord Nelson, København 20 Feb 10. Mørk aprikosfarget. Svakt farget kremskum. Aroma med mye humle og fruktig preg. Smaken parfymert & fruktig med en øyeblikkelig tung fruktig bitterhet. Overraskende. Bitterhugget dominerer resten av smaksbildet.

Tap @ Lord Nelson, Cph.
Pours deep, hazy amber with a small, staying, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma has plant sap, light fruit, a hint of wet dog and caramel. Low carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very hoppy, dry and bitter. Piney and fruity. Long, lingering, hops aftertaste. Good, but a little unbalanced towards being too bitter for its own good.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2010 27-FEB-2010, bottle @home, from "Fish & Beer". I had the X-mas beer from Black Rooster and was quite happy, so I have high expectations;-) Very brown for an IPA. I guess that could mean a good dose of malt to balance the hops, and yes, so it is. Very very bitter. Certainly a cascade profile here, with grape fruit and pine but also as hoped some sweet maltiness. Very very long and bitter aftertaste. This is the best IPA in some time. Very good effort from a newly started brewery - but I guess you "trained" before? Keep going, I will definately buy your next release:-) 19-JUN-2010 from tap @Ulkløbben sommerfest. Presented by Jacob from the brewery. This was fantastic from bottle, but the tap version is absolutely awsom. Thank you, Henrik for getting hold of this.

Draught at Ølbaren
Beautiful red amber color with creamy head. Earthy aroma, manure, caramel, earthy hops. Good body strength, supported by a strong caramel presence; the hopping is extreme, and the final is long. Correctly brewed, but too much hop oils, possibly too long infusion, while I would like more fruity hops and some more sweetness. Good.

Draft at Lord Nelson. Nice dry hop aroma but things go downhill after that. Flat taste. Not what I expect from an IPA.

Draught @ Ølbaren. Deep golden clear colour with a nice steady off white head leaving a good lacing. Fruity fresh hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is fresh and hoppy with caramel, fruit, some citrus and malt. Dry hoppy sweetish finish.

Draft. An amber beer with a thick lazing tan head. The aroma has strong notes of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops, orange peal, grapefruit, bread, and some malt, leading to a quite bitter finish.
