COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Maria (9570) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2011
It’s hazy red-brown with a dense, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, light butterscotch, light spice, mostly anise/rubber. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of roasted malt, burnt caramel, candy-sugar, light oranges, nuts, nougat and the finish is very dry.

2010-vintage: A slightly muddy brown color that carries the smell of hops and gasoline (!!?). It’s also rather hoppy on in the mouth, but the body is rather thin but delicious. It tastes nice with hints of plum, prunes and apricots and it hasn’t got any of the nauseating malt sweetness that characterizes too many brown ales. Good, long bitter aftertaste.

Hazy cupper with a fine tanned head. Fresh, malty aroma with sea weeds, hops, burnt coffee and caramel. Bitterfresh flavor with sea weeds and salt, caramel, coffee, liqourice and a hint of christmas spices. Rather unexpected surprise.
