COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Hemmeligheden bag en god juleøl er at begrænse sig – der er så mange muligheder for at komme smag i brygget, at man hurtigt kan komme for meget af julens krydderier i. ‘The Pros and Cons of Christmas’ er en balanceret Brown Ale, med julen bagerst på tungen og den gode, runde Ale-smag forrest, hjulpet godt på vej af amerikanske og engelske humletyper, samt vores hjemmelavede maltsirup der er karamelliseret i 10 timer.
Indeholder: Byg- og hvedemalt, umaltet byg, vand, humle, gær og julekrydderier.

Murky brown with a thin beige head. Decent hops, light spice. A touch of cardboard. Malt is nice enough. Some bread in the finish. Dull, but drinkable.

Draught at KØ10. Mild roasted aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Very small creamy tan head. The flavour is roasted, barley bitterness, a bit grainy. Funky yeast notes, a bit of spice, cough syrup, aniseed.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2010, TAP1. Pours an unclear and brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel and spices. The flavor is malt, caramel and some hops. The palate is bitter with some caramel. Overall an average beer.

Murky brown with off-white head. Cappucino and malts in the aroma with hoppy floral notes. Alcohol, and malty sweetness in the mouth developing into nice bitter finish also carrying malts and revealing some acidity. Medium body. Syrupy. Well balanced. Sampler@Ølfestival København 2010.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Toffee aroma. Sweet and fruity with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly with a whiffoforange, salty spicy somewhat resiny finish. Quite harmonious.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100518]
