Draught at the beer festival in Copenhagen. Opaque dark brown body. Fragile lacing head. Aroma of spiced, sweet malts. Flavour of grainy chocolate malts followed by herbal hops. Soft carbonated. Just alright without reaching the top level of Christmas beers (CBF, 07.05.2010).

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a nice and creamy off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts - hops are rather subdued. Medium body, really a malt showcase this one, lovely roasted malts with a whiff of ashes - fortunately the X-mas spices are very downplayed. Hops and malts duel to add bitterness to the finish. A solid and well made Brown Ale. 050410

Hazy dark brown with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hints of diacetyl, roasted malt and light chocolate. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, grassy hops, dark fruits and butter. Light infection here.
