"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Bottle. Pours hazy copper with a thin lacy head. Aromas of brown sugar, dark fruit and yeasty esters. Flavors are slightly fruity, a bit of brown sugar and caramel, and ample breadiness. Herbal hoppiness in the finish. Watery mouthfeel. Very dry and rather refreshing. Decent representation of a classic bitter.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2015 Bottle. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head. The aromas are rather rich - hints of raisin, nuttiness and slightly yeasty; all embedded in a fresh earthy-like background. Flavours include toasted notes, somewhat fruity but not overpoweringly so, hoppy, a bit bitter. Dryish finish with a good development of the flavours: NOT one-dimensional at all! Very nice.

Clear copper color with strongish white foam. Aroma of hops and malt, has that generic beer aroma. Taste bitterish from the start and then quickly taste fades away and goes into watery flavour, but leaves somewhat bitter aftertaste. Beer it self tastes of hops, not too strong but has that hop bitterness to it and thats about it. Overall not the best, but quite simple one bot not the worst either, somewhere in between.

Cobriza de apenas espuma que deja película. aroma malteado, fruto seco. Sigue a la boca, en una cerveza muy bebible y agradable. Predominio malteado y tostado, con notas de frutos secos, pero carácter seco con contrapunto amargo.

• As with many Black Sheep beers, smells like a raincoat. This one has bacon and cabbage in the pocket. • Herby hops, but clean body with slight [wal]nuttiness/dark orange zest? • As with many brews from same table, dry at end with a slight wheat creaminess.

Clear copper colored beer with a solid beige/white foam head. The smell is malty and has a weird difficult to describe spice touch (not bad though). The taste is malty, bitter and has a nice sweet compromise as a finish, but the spice notes stays through the whole taste. Light oily bitter aftertaste that decays to a calm smooth mouth feeling. Interesting beer.

Bottle, 500 ml. A pleasant bitter, smooth, well balanced, medium carbonation. Went well with spicy food.
