COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Bottle 0.5L. Clear copper body with average, frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting with some lacing. Moderate hoppy (flowers, citrus) and light malty (caramel) aroma, with fruity notes. Moderate bitter flavour with a light-to-moderate sweet character; bitter finish. Light-to-medium body with watery-to-oily texture; average carbonation.

Had this many times. Hops are somewhat underwelming and there is some fruit and pepper but structurally yhis beer needs some scaffolding and disinction.

500 ml bottle from Sobeys Liquor, served in a nonic pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper shade with mousse-like foam that retains well and leaves thick lace rings. Nose is heavy with toasty malt and earthy, dusty red fruit, somewhat winey. Mmmmm...taste-wise, there’s dense malt toast topped with wine-like fruits, and the earthiness isn’t as noticeable. A wee bit thick, with a soft bitterness and a pleasant finish. This is a damn good bitter, one I’d be happy to drink all day. It knows what aromas and flavors to present, and does not disappoint. Top me up!

Pours a sparkling dark amber with an average off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, light flowery hops, spices and yeast. Appearance and aroma are nice so you expect pretty good things from the taste but unfortunately it’s a disappointment. The taste is slightly bitter and average but the aftertaste is quite unpleasant and the palate is too harsh.

Caramel colour. Lot of carbonation. Quite bitter. As bottled goes not bad. Good for barbecue. Okay.

March Ale Alpharetta. Caramel notes, floral hops, fruity. Overall nothing special, but really quite drinkable and nice at the same time. I haven’t had a bitter in a long time and this was a nice change of pace.

Bottle at Ale Alpharetta. Clear caramel color, with a thin off-white head. Nose of butterscotch, peanut, light black pepper, and some grass and herbs. Sweet, with a mellow, tasty bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and clingy. Overall, this is a nice, mellow, drinkable beer.

Pours a clear amber with a nice head the disappears, but leaves good lacing. Taste is sweet caramel malt, with fruity and flowery hops, and finish with a tart, and very dry hop bitterness.
