Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

March Ale Alpharetta. Caramel notes, floral hops, fruity. Overall nothing special, but really quite drinkable and nice at the same time. I haven’t had a bitter in a long time and this was a nice change of pace.

Bottle at Ale Alpharetta. Clear caramel color, with a thin off-white head. Nose of butterscotch, peanut, light black pepper, and some grass and herbs. Sweet, with a mellow, tasty bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and clingy. Overall, this is a nice, mellow, drinkable beer.

Pours a clear amber with a nice head the disappears, but leaves good lacing. Taste is sweet caramel malt, with fruity and flowery hops, and finish with a tart, and very dry hop bitterness.

Nice amber colour. Good aromas of malt, sweetness. Tastes a bit thin, bitter and one-dimensional. Not as nice as the Golden Sheep.

Bottle from Tesco. Light Brown in colour, very clear, single finger head. Heavy Carbonation. Aroma of malts, tree, piney, tomato almost. On the taste, a lot of malts, strong hops, lemon. A lot of bitterness on the finish, very nice.

500ml bottle pours nice deep bronze color with bright white head that slowly settled to a lasting thin 1/2 pencil head. The aroma was malty with a hint of fruit hut all in all the aroma is low with a very little citrusy hop presence. Taste is malt forward rich bread and caramel notes throughout the palate. Bitterness is strong which leaves a nice dry finish. A very refreshing sessionable beer that is one on my favorite English bitters I had while in the UK.
