COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Xmas present bottle at least it wasn’t an Old Tom; clear amber pour with a big frothy white head, malt and a hint of citrus aroma, taste has sweet malt, caramel, a hint of citrus, inoffensive stuff.

Very mild aroma. Dark honey appearance. Once poured has quite a good thick head. Punchy hoppy taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light bitter and a lot of unremarkable malt. Pours brown with good head and lacing. Finishes with light sourness. Not very exciting, but sessionable. Bottle

500 mL bottle. Deep copper brown pour with a couple of fingers of fairly dense off-white head. Fairly decent retention and some lacing. Malt dominates the aroma, caramel, toasted malt, some earthiness. Taste is fairly similar though a bit subdued compared to aroma. Decent bitterness in the finish.

Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Maitselt natuke karameljalt magus (klassikaline limonaad), naguke kibe (isegi kirbe). Kehalt kergemapoolne, mullisust on parasjagu, mitte ülemäära. Värskendav, kuid kuiv ja kleepjas, suud tihkelt täitvalt mõrkjas. Väga kergesti joodav, kuigi praegu läks mul sellega küll oma poolteist tundi (kuna püüdsin lõhnale näppu peale saada). Võiks vabalt teinegi kord proovida - pudeli-Bitteri kohta päris sümpaatne.

Erzengel (3553) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 11, 2014
Hellbraune Farbe, roter Einschlag, leichter weißgrauer Schaum. 14/13/15/14

Tons of aroma and flavor for a 4.4% ABV brew. Clear Amber color with limited head. Sweet in middle, but bitter finish.
