COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Bottle: Amber coloured, loose, stable off-white head; solid clean malty and floral-hoppy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied; lingering fruity, malty and hoppy finish. Well rounded, pleasant brew.......

Pours clear amber with a loose, even frothy, quickly diminishing head. A ring of lacing is left behind and clings in a circle around the rim of the glass. Nose is of bread, mild marmalade, pub floor, butter and old earthy hops. Mouth feel is slick; body is thin to medium thin with a low carbonation. Taste is bitter sweet, bringing out a biscuit and jam taste to those dusty hops. A toffee and baked apple develop on the finish, but it’s rather short. It’s okay - better than drinking lager - but there’s no defining feature, nothing to make it stand out from all those other supermarket specials.

Poured clear copper with a medium size, lasting beige head leaving a frothy lacing. Sweet pasteurised malts & caramelised sugar in both aroma and flavour. A bit of fruit but too much sugary sweetness for me. Finishes with a short hoppy, toasty bitterness. Medium body & carbonation.

Pours a hazy copper brown with a thick cream colored head - nice lacing. Subdued nose of floral hops and grain. medium bodied with good carbonation and a dry finish. Malts with a bitter finish. Not bad, but nothing special either.

Hazy light amber color. Mild aroma. Flavor of buttery malts with a bitter hop finish. The finish is a little sticky. Mouthfeel is medium. A filling brew. Not my favorite ever though.

50cl Bottle brought from London, thanks Manon! Clear amber colour, slightly off white head. Aroma of light toasted malts, a bit of stale hops and caramel, light fruity. Flavour is ligth sweet caramel, dry bitterness, a bit of cardboard, dry malty and hoppy finish with a light fruitiness. Light bodied. Refreshing, but bland.
