COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Copper with white head, fruity and earthy smell. Crisp feel with a dry bitter aftertaste. Ale Sweetness, malt grass, dirt and nutty. Refreshing and tasty. But the bitterness get tiring.

Pours a light copper color with a white head. Aroma is dark fruit and bready mal, but a little weak. Taste is quite bitter and has a malty finish. A tad on the watery side. Seems thin.

Theakstons svarta får gör ingen besviken. En fyllig bitter med stor ganska mörk kropp, bra beska och lång eftersmak. En av de bästa engelska bittrarna.

Bottle. Aroma of flowery hops. Taste... good grief... bitter as hell, like licking that fingernail biting stuff. My brain kept concentrating on the bitterness and didnt stop to identify other flavours. Watery on palate. Wont drink again, but at least it HAS a flavour...

Ein leckeres Bier, dezent malzig im Mittelteil, erfrischend und verdammt süffig. Im Nachgeschmack angenehm bitter, dennoch recht zurückhaltend.

Bottle. A dark amber with a light foamy off-white head. Flower malt aroma with a light sweet malt falvor, mildly bitter, smooth and easy drinking. Not much flavor, but that is the style.
