COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

July 2007 - Clear golden color, little to no head or lacing, clear. Aroma of buttery biscuit. The flavor was of bitter, butter and biscuits. Too much diacetyl. Ick.

Bottle: Dark copper color, nice head and light lacing. Nose of bitter fuggles and malt, some apple sweetness and moderate amount of alcohol actually. The flavor is more towards the bitter side, but it’s malty enough to merit more drinking. Easy drinking finish. Good.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2008 Bottle. Nice red colour, small white head. Certainly a dry finish. Malty. Something missing for me though the taste grows on you a bit.

Poured red/amber color, tall head and nice malty aroma. Very refreshing light, malty flavor. Good over all ale.

crazyvin (1536) - New York, USA - JAN 27, 2008
Poured a clear amber color with a thin white head that had no retention. Aroma was a mix of grassy notes and some bitter hops. Hops seemed light in the aroma, but were heavily present in the flavor. Finish was dry.

beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - JAN 25, 2008
Pours mildly cloudy orange with a tall white head. Fruity malt nose, with a dry earthy hop finish. Very soft on the palate, crisp in the finish. Hops are dominant, but not overpowering, allowing the malts to bring a bread and fruit character into the hopped finish.
