COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Purs a nice mid amber with a moderate white head. Aroma features tangy earthy hops with an almost tussock-like grassy note. On the palate there are hints of marmelade, and a rich yet dry english malt character that sits in tight ballance with a firm bitterness. dependable pint.

Pours a pleasing deep yellow with a medium off-white head with moderate lacing. Nose is faint malt and even fainter hops note. Flavor is toasted and biscuit malts with a dry, bitter finish. Watery/chalky mouthfeel. Pretty good.

[bottle] Clear amber color with a short off-white head. Toasty malt aroma, with some slight hop character. Bready malt flavors, with some nice bitterness. Slightly sour and metallic elements in the finish. Not bad, but not all that memorable either.

De mémoire - L’amertume de cette bière cache un peu trop ses agréables parfums de caramel et de pain doré. C’est une bière très agréable.

500ml bottle. English Pint. Amber with a small head. Aroma - light malt. There was a lot of hop bitterness up front, but the malt and caramel became more apparent as it warmed. Maybe just a tad thin.

Copper colour with a big foamy offwhite head. Aroma is grainy with some sweeter malt notes. Flavour is very grainy, with alot of dry hop flavour and a tinge of metal. A nice bitter dry hoppy finish but to watery. Still not bad, just not great.
