Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Copper colour with a big foamy offwhite head. Aroma is grainy with some sweeter malt notes. Flavour is very grainy, with alot of dry hop flavour and a tinge of metal. A nice bitter dry hoppy finish but to watery. Still not bad, just not great.

16.9 oz. bottle for $3.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Pours a clear, medium amber body with a frothy, inviting, off-white head. Thin traces of lacing. Smell: Toasted grains with a bit of caramel alongside a spicy-scented, fragrant hop aroma. Taste: Biscuity malts with a touch of graininess and caramel sweetness. Sip of black tea. Very, very faint fruitiness. Spicy, floral English hops. The bitterness is initially mild but resilient, and increases as you head towards the dry, bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A rather full-flavored session ale with a keen drinkability. Worth a try.

Bottle at Pub Italia in Ottawa. Cool bottle. Nice brown appearance. Nuts and malt in the taste, perhaps a little thin. Pretty good.

Pours a clear amber-orange with a brief head falling to a lingering ring of foam. Alcoholic, white grape & slightly funky hop aroma. Stale malt and funky hop taste, carastan cereal & Kentish goldings. Finish is long, but compromising in taste (more of the stale malt extract taste). Moderate carbonation. Towards the end a fly flew into the glass and died, but it didn’t seem to improve the flavour any. Interesting but quite far from fresh.

foggy amber, medium foamy head. Very faint aroma of mildy swwet malt, hay, and grassy hops. Flavor of bready malt, mild grassy hoppy itterness. Little pepperiness from alcohol. Boring in general, nothing especially pleasant or interesting about it.
