Lots of hops went into brewing this one and it shows.Quite sweet with a dry aftertaste this is a pleasant bitter especially if you have a sweet tooth. Its named after a soap series set in Yorkshire.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale brown in colour. Aromas are light malty and sweet with some sulphur. Flavours are fruity, nutty and "Burton" like. Has a touch of the homebrew about it (chemical taste). Not bad though really. "Its all going on!".

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Amber, initial white poor head and moderate condition. Low hops and orange malt aromas. Quite hoppy in the mouth with a tang of apple, and a hop bitter finish

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decent hop aroma. Red in colour with small fast disappearing head. Massively hoppy flavour with a biscuity complex. I do like these Black Sheep ales and this one does not disappoint. Although not their finest effort. Not a good balance.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Standard English ale appearance with a very strong caramel/barley aroma. The flavour is dominated by strong hops and caramel. Overall an average beer, slighlty disappointing.
