2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - Poured into a dimpled tankard. Medium frothy head, light amber colour, Sour-hop aroma with a definite barley undercurrent. An initial dry bitter flavour however there are definite hop flavours and a hint of smoke.Long finish. On a side note, the bottle is quite nicely embossed with a hop design

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Blond ale classic style, this beer is very similar to Badger Champion ale. Hopy and gorgeous, the flavour fills the mouth. Silky and smooth beer slips down without any trouble.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2007 Poured from the bottle, a clear amber, a little carbonation and a large bubbly white head. At first the aroma is malty, but then this gives way to a pleasant sweet berry fruitiness. Smooth and light on the palate at first, with malty flavours. This gives way to a long bitter finish with hoppy fruit flavours. Only downside would be the carbonation, which just takes a little away from it overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from the bottle around ’Use by" and poured into a pint glass. A decent head of white foam formed atop a bright orange-gold body. The head lasted and produced excellent lacing. Sweet malt aroma, with tangy citric hop notes and a herbal spice. In the mouth an unusual wash of oranges crossed the palate, with peppery spices, husky grain feels and a bitter grassy swallow. Medium carbonation and a medium light palate. Good blend of Goldings hops to balance the sweetness. Very clean and overall refreshingly crisp summer style Ale. Lovely!!!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours light copper with a large sudsy white head. Nice lace too. Very fruity aroma of apples and citrus hops. Full bodied soft feel. Sweet start with tastes of pears and banana. Very fruity all the way through though suprisingly balanced. Not bad, though a tad weird.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 3, 2007 From bottle. I love the smell of the beer, sweet and fruity aroma with a hint of malt. Great appearance, a clear orange glow with a thin head. A well balanced ale, sweet with a bitter finish. Overall a good bitter, nothing bad to say about this ale. A lot better than the TV Show! Re- rated, I still think this is a great enjoyable beer
