COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Pasteurised.
"Distinctive balance between the flavours of fruity Golding variety hops, Maris Otter malted barley and demerara sugar. Strong and refreshingly long, dry and bitter finish."
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."

Suprizingly good for tesco, bottled ales. Apperance is better than expected with good lacing, aroma and taste are both reasonably sweet, and found the alcohol noticeable too. alround not to bad, go for it again if theres nothign else.

500ml bottle picked up at Centra, Oslo. Dark amber body under a slightly off-white head, mostly lasting with lots of small bubbles and great lacing on the glass. Moderate and rounded aroma of floral hops. Light caramel and fruits in flavour offset by a touch of bitter malts towards the end. A bit watered palate (14.06.2007).

Pale brown in colour. Aromas are light malty and sweet with some sulphur. Flavours are fruity, nutty and "Burton" like. Has a touch of the homebrew about it (chemical taste). Not bad though really. "Its all going on!".

An orange beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is hoppy and slightly dusty - must be the Goldings, but it is also sweet and slightly fruity. The flavor is fruity and hoppy on a sweet background, but also hints of dust, leading to a fruity hoppy end which is slightly sticky.

Bottle, usual session beer colour and aroma. moderate amount of bitterness with a dry finish. Ok but nothing to really write home about, there are a million types of beers like this in the UK.
