Bottle. BBE Oct 04. Orange amber colour. I did several aggressive pours to get rid of the excess carbonation, but the mouthfeel is hard and unpleasant. Stewed hop flavour. Aroma of slightly damp straw. Neutral palate. Some sweetness going into a bitter finish which eventually ends dry. Tangy, orange hinted earthy hops. A little demerara sweetness pops up now and again - most often in the middle of the finish. The hoppy tang is a little too aggressive for my taste. Mostly decent enough, but I wasn't thrilled.

Old amateur rating: Bottle. Dark color, fine white head. Somebody burned flavor and a little sweet. Easily drinkable but good.

Soft CO2. floral and fresh smell. Late summer hops. A bit cheese like???
Dark yellow and white ale head a bit hazy colour.
A full solid flavour. Light bitter and sweet, fruity in a way. Oily on the lips and prickling in mouth. Full body, slick/oily "grinding" texture. Light fizzy and good full finish.

500 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy amber color, Thick white head. Slightly metallic hop aroma. Somewhat chalky, bitter flavor with a touch of caramel. Medium-high carbonation, light body. Drinkable, but not spectacular.

Good head,nice golden ale with good carbonation.Aroma hops,malt,fruit,wheat tones.Flavour malty,good hops taste,wheat is well flavoured,slight stonefruit and butterscoth tastes give it a smoothness,plus a brightness.Finish,hoppy,fullflavours,nice ale from Black Sheep.

Sweet fruity aroma with caramel,malt and floral hops. Sweet and fruity flavor with hoppy, floral, piney,pepper and caramel notes. Finishes bitter.

Clear amber with nice off-white head. Notes of toffee, ripe fruit, malt, sweet apples. Some hops and wood developes in mouth. Flavour is sweet with a nice bitter finish.

Appearance: Golden brown. Quite a lot of head, shortlived.
Aroma: Nice fruit, orangy. Hops and malt. Honey.

Beautiful darker orange colour, medium head. Nice balanced bitter. Caramel aroma with various spices. Fruity notes. Medium carbonation. Dry bittery aftertaste.
